Friday Question

Quick question cause I gotta run.

If you could join the cast of one television program for the period of one month, what program would it be? I'm not talking about being an actor here, I mean literally joining their world and being a character in it. When the month was over, you would return to your regular life and no time would have passed. But for that month, you could be in the universe of The Muppet Show or Laverne & Shirley or According to Jim or whatever.

What show?

I am hampered by my lack of TV watching. Curses!

I think it's a toss between West Wing, though I am not politically astute enough, I'd be a great comic character, and Allie McBeal because of the warpring reality they had. I loves the scratched record sound and morphing. Again, not a legal scholar, but I could play one on TV.

The Simpsons, most defnitely.

I would like to add that a close second might be The Bugaloos, that 70's Saturday morning classic.

Weeds. I would love to pal around with the Kevin Nealon and Justin Kirk characters. And I suppose that would entail a return to some of my youthful indiscretions. But it would be a fun reminder of those long, gone days. West Wing would be a great second choice (and a very different environment).

Deadwood. Though my career options would be limited there.

I would choose I Dream of Jeannie or Bewitched, and I'd want to be one of those magical relatives that pop in every now and then from weird, glamorous locales.

Ah, good EVENING, darling! Oh, him? That's Franz, my weightlifter. He carries my shopping bags. We were just picking up a few things in Rome. Now, what can I do for you? Make it snappy because I'm due to meet The Raja on a pyramid for hors d'oeuvres.

Doctor Who, so I could travel in time. I was going to say Lost, but they seem so serious. Plus, I don't think they shower.

The Mary Tyler Moore show. But I know Mr. Grant would make me cry when he gives that look...

A-team: A cool van, action, adventure, with no actual risk of danger.

I'd be B.A.'s sidekick, "Don't drink the milk, B.A.! It's drugged! It's always drugged!"
