Pop culture and some news put through a filter of optimistic cynicism. Also, lots of vanity. And seemingly a great deal about children. More than some might expect. Written by John Moe

Yes
Yes. I was wearing a red shirt yesterday and today I am wearing a blue one.
Only if they have compelling motivation - greed, power, fear, death - and even then, not so much. How else can you explain the glut of type 2 diabetes brought on by crap food and lack of exercise? You'd think blindness, amputation and early death would do the trick.
(my other answer was, yes if they're toilet trained, but Bruce H stole that thunder)
ASK AGAIN LATER
Yes, but don't count on it.
I am assuming that the question is about individuals. If so, then yes, but only over a very long time period. In fact, I think we all change over teh period of our lifetime.
And, nobody can initiate the change except the person who is changing.
Even if the question is about society in general, I think the answer is pretty much the same.
If they didn't, I would be unlikely to speak to any of my family members ever again.
I'm pretty sure they feel the same way about me.
Yes and no. People can change if they allow it. Sometimes it's conscious, sometimes it's unconscious. And yes, I think that unconsciously allowing yourself to change is a choice that is made. Or rather, not making other choices.
Not if they're older than 40
Small things, yes. Core things, no. It's WEEEE-URD, because I was just having a discussion about this with a pal.
generally, I would say no- BUT if there is a sort of life-shaking shocker catalyst, (i.e. death or illness or crisis) then yes... or even just a significant fairly normal catalyst, like a break-up or a divorce, these things change us... and/or cause us to change.
Just ask any college girl with a crummy boyfriend. The answer is YES, but only with MY help..... until I cry my eyes out and discover you're a big fat LOSER. Then I go merrily on my way until the next life-suck crosses my path. Bad boyfriends of yore beware! Your infamy lives on around the world as I travel and tell my tales of woe.
Sorry, had to delete and edit.
