Conservatizing with the Pre-Conservatized

I think I'll end up doing a fair amount of public radio interviews for this book. But today I found out that I'll be doing an hour with Michael Medved on 10/5 from 1-2pm pacific time. Medved is in the book. I spent a day sitting in the studio with him while he did his show. It was the day of the London bombings. Was the word "Islamofascism" brought up? Yes. Yes it was.

But he's not the only one who probably thinks I'm dramatically underestimating Huge Threats. Someone on the left does too!

Ummm...sense of humor? Sad to see folks on the lefter end of the spectrum living up to our reputation for not being able to laugh at ourselves. (In opposition to this trend, I give you one of my favorite jokes: How many lesbian-feminists does it take to change a light bulb? ... That's *not* funny!)

I was simply using the blurb about the book as a point of departure Susan. The book isn't about poking fun at ourselves btw. It makes us look naive to simply point at the cowboys and say hey look a conservative.
